Dana Marie Dunne, Consultant
Dana Marie Dunne contributes health policy and developing country perspective to the
strategic and customized solutions Applied Strategies provides for clients in public health and life sciences.
She has eight years of international development experience in project management, training and facilitation, public/private partnerships, supply chain management, and financial risk assessment and portfolio analysis.
Before joining Applied Strategies, Dana worked for the Technical &
Policy Department at the GAVI Alliance in Geneva, Switzerland, where she
coordinated the Advance Market Commitment (AMC) and Accelerated Vaccine
Introduction (AVI) work plans. Throughout her international development career,
Dana has collaborated with ministries of health and finance, foreign heads of
state, multinational and emerging-market pharmaceutical and vaccine suppliers,
civil society organizations, the US Department of State, USAID, WHO, UNICEF, the
World Bank, JICA, DFID, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and commissioned
expert groups. She holds a masters degree in public health from the Johns
Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she studied biostatistics and
epidemiology and earned a certificate in Vaccine Science and Policy. Having
lived and worked in Eurasia and Africa, Dana speaks intermediate-level Russian and conversational French.
